Babies, infants, and young children are incredibly creative, but it can be difficult to know how to harness that creativity.
There is significant research proving the importance of reading to children, but it’s easy to get stuck and bored reading the same books over and over.
That’s where The DramaBabies Co. comes in. Join us for sessions rooted in literacy that will engage your child’s five senses, allow for dramatic exploration and play, and foster a safe space of risk and fun!
We haven’t forgotten about caregivers...we hope that our class offerings will be a place of community and helpful as you raise your little star.

Rachel Rubenstein Volkmann
Hi there! I'm Rachel, and I am the founder, director and lead instructor at The DramaBabies Co.! I grew up in Northbrook, Illinois, where I was an avid participant in theatre from ages 7-18. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with bachelor's degrees in Rehabilitation Psychology and Theatre/Drama, with an emphasis in Theatre for Youth. I’ve also studied Theatre for Youth in London through a program with NYU Steinhardt School. I have nearly a decade of classroom teaching experience, and was named finalist for Minnesota Teacher of the Year in 2022. I live in the West Metro with my husband, Brett, our one year old daughter Lenni, and our bernedoodle puppy, Linden.
